Heartland Elementary fifth graders went on a field trip to Main Street USA, a learning experience that immerses students in daylong activities aligned with the Kansas Curricular Standards for History and Government, Economics and Geography Standards. Several 3rd-5th grade Blue Valley students visit Main Street USA and have fun while learning about the United States using hands-on activities. Main Street USA programs include Westward Expansion, American Sampler (regions of the United States), American Indians and Colonial Times and the American Revolution.
