Blue Valley elementary schools hosted Kindergarten Round Up on Friday, April 13, 2012. Kindergarten students had the opportunity to visit elementary schools and spend time in kindergarten classrooms, interact with other students and meet kindergarten teachers. Blue Valley's kindergarten program is designed to develop knowledge and skills in the physical, social, emotional and cognitive areas. The district's goal is to help children develop skills and strategies that will help them learn and establish a foundation for lifelong success in education.
