The Blue Valley Educational Foundation recently celebrated student and staff successes at its 22nd annual Community Breakfast. More than 1,100 business leaders, community members and Blue Valley parents attended the event, which was hosted by John Holt of Fox 4 News and featured Blue Valley Superintendent Tom Trigg's State of the District address. Also honored were staff and student Sunflower Ambassadors who are selected based on how they exhibit the seven Blue Valley Virtues: compassion, courage, honesty, perseverance, respect, responsibility and self-discipline. The foundation raised more than $190,000, which will help support educational excellence in Blue Valley schools.
